Carol Lee Thompson is a contemporary artist trained in detailed classical painting and technique.
The artist is recognized for her fine Equine oil paintings. Ms. Thompson paints in a wide range of subjects including still life,
landscape and portraiture. She has won numerous awards and has been recognized in the Western United States for her Native American
subjects. In 2007, Thompson was awarded inclusion in Best Sporting Art at the prestigious fall juried exhibition at the American Academy
of Equine Art, International Museum of the Horse in Kentucky. In 2006 and 2007, her work was included at the Masters of Foxhounds
Association of America (MFHA) Centennial Traveling Art Exhibition. The artist holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute
College of Art; she is also a graduate of the Shuler School of Fine Art. Her works are included in numerous private and public collections
throughout the United States.
